Born in 1966 in Ohrid, North Macedonia, Dr. Sasho V. Vasilevski is a respected medical doctor and specialist in internal medicine and diabetology. He graduated in 1994 and completed his specialization in 2002, building a career dedicated to the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases, particularly diabetes.
In addition to his medical background, Dr. Vasilevski is well-known for his active role in politics and public service. As District Governor of MD 135 MKD in 2011, he was instrumental in fostering civic engagement and community development across the region. His leadership and dedication to societal well-being led him to national politics, where he served two consecutive terms as a Member of the Macedonian Parliament from 2014 to 2020.
During his time in Parliament, Dr. Vasilevski was involved in key legislative committees focused on health, social policy, and European integration. He was a vocal advocate for strengthening public healthcare systems, improving access to treatment for chronic illnesses, and aligning national health policies with EU standards. He also worked on initiatives related to youth development, medical education, and ethical governance.
Since 2017, he has been a member of UGLB No-082, further reflecting his commitment to fraternal and professional networks. In 2021, he was appointed GAT Ambassador for C4 Europe, where he continues to promote cross-border cooperation and leadership excellence.
